Admissions

At Rise and Shine Day Nursery we can care for 69 children between the ages of 3 months and 4 years, and offer flexible childcare for shift workers. We operate an inclusion and equality policy and ensure that all children have access to nursery places and services irrespective of their gender, race, disability, religion or belief or sexual orientation of parents.

Registration

Please view our Parent Handbook and Contract below. We use a parent app for all registration forms, if you would like to register please get in touch. After the registration process you will have the opportunity to meet with your child's key person and arrange settling in sessions.

Flexible Working Contracts

We aim to meet the needs of our parents and children. We offer flexible working contracts which allow parents who are shift workers book the days they need a month in advance. We also offer extra sessions where possible. A child requiring a full-time place may have preference over one requiring a part-time place. This is dependent upon work commitments, occupancy and room availability.

Admin Fees

We do not charge a registration or admin fee to register your child at Rise and Shine Day Nursery. A refundable retainer fee of £39 is required to hold a place for longer than 2 months. This will be refunded in your final month of charges.

Personal Data

Prior to a child attending nursery, parents must complete and sign a contract and registration form. These forms provide the nursery with personal details relating to the child. For example, name, date of birth, address, emergency contact details, parental responsibilities, dietary requirements, collection arrangements, fees and sessions, contact details for parents, doctor’s contact details, health visitor contact details, allergies, parental consent and vaccinations etc.

Tours & Settling In

We offer nursery tours and settling in sessions for new starters. A nursery tour is a great way to get a feel for our ethos, meet some staff members and ask any questions you may have.
